Pretty things around the house...

Wildflowers in the kitchen window

A little angel on the front porch

This one has broken wings, but I can't bear to throw her away so she just sits in a wire basket on the front porch.

Beautiful flowers

Another broken angel. She used to sit in my kitchen window, but had fallen several times and broken her legs. We glued them at least twice. I moved her to a shelf in my dining room and the whole shelf fell and broke her legs again. So.... now she sits in dirt in a potted plant with her broken legs covered. I think she likes her new home.

Rusted = Pretty

Trying to get a close up of a snail

More  rusted goodness!

Texas....

Good old Texas...where the tea is sweet and accents are sweeter, summer starts in April, front porches are wide and words are long, macaroni & cheese is a vegetable, BBQ is the state food, y'all is a proper pronoun, chicken is fried, biscuits come with gravy, everyone is honey, someone is always getting their heart blessed, and we are all "fixin" to do something.

After the Rain☂ ☂ ☂ ☂

It flooded here today. So much that school was cancelled. The rain was so nice though.
My plants that were so wilted and dry now have new life.
Here are some pictures I took after the rain.

Wow... that's a lot of pictures, but everything just looked so beautiful and refreshed. I couldn't stop taking pictures!

Boo!

I put some Halloween decorations out on the front porch the other day.
I didn't put a whole lot of thought into it.
I was upstairs in a storage closet and saw them and grabbed a few and sort of just set them out.
I could do a better decorating job, but they look okay so I'm okay with
okay :O)

The flower isn't part of the decorations. It just happens to be a pretty orange and happens to be blooming in one of my pots on the front porch.
I love orange!

Happy
Halloween
