I took these at Wal-Mart the other day when my daughter was looking for a costume. I saw these little cuties and whipped out the camera to take pictures. (sorry for the glare... plastic and wmart lights)

Our STUPID horses somehow got into the backyard and ATE the rest of them!!!

The text I sent to my husband about HIS STUPID horses was not very nice.

Sometimes I don't like animals very much.

I love Mondays! I know, I'm weird. My weekends always seem to be busier than what I'd like. When Monday rolls around the kids are back to school and I try to keep Mondays free.

I actually did some work around the house...

laundry

dishes

balance the check book

and then....

watching some of my taped programs

reading blogs

working on my gypsy wind chime

......then it was time to pick up the kids

Here's a dish of some of my mother's jewelry that she collected throughout the years. It's sitting on my dresser. I wish she was still around to tell me where she found all these pretties. She was a garage sale/thrifter WAY before it was popular.

Boo!

I put some Halloween decorations out on the front porch the other day.

I didn't put a whole lot of thought into it.

I was upstairs in a storage closet and saw them and grabbed a few and sort of just set them out.

I could do a better decorating job, but they look okay so I'm okay with

okay :O)

The flower isn't part of the decorations. It just happens to be a pretty orange and happens to be blooming in one of my pots on the front porch.

I love orange!

A walk around my home...

Today it's raining, but a few days ago this was my evening walk around the house.

I just started working on a ~gypsy~ wind chime today ....

lots of glass beads, bells, vintage chains, feathers

no planning, just putting things together, randomly

...hope it turns out pretty

I love all the whites and creams, chippy, french style, vintage... all the things I get inspiration from on my favorite blogs

but I'm feeling the deep rich colors of the gypsy today
